Prevention of Hate Speech in Media against People Living with HIV Project

Aim and Objective and Method :

Monitoring of news and posts containing hate speech and disinformation that cause violations of rights, discrimination and stigmatization of people living with HIV, social media, mainstream and local media, interpreting the medical and social effects, preparing a report with the right content, sharing the report with media members, content producers, social media influencers & activists to ensure that the public is informed correctly.

In the project where 12 months of retrospective monitoring was carried out; it was aimed to contribute to the dissemination of positive perception towards people living with HIV and to inform the public correctly by sharing the report with media members, content producers, social media influencers & activists.

Outputs:

· Number of hate speech generated against HIV and people living with HIV through monitoring in mainstream and local media

·   Number of content and news to be shared by updating project content

·   Number of views of newly shared accurate content

·   At least one media member, content producer and influencer reached news/content/share

·  Making and sharing videos
